Hollywood stars make up the most money for pharmaceutical companies, and pharmaceutical salespeople get rich quick. It's the only drug that gets to be the blockbuster for the biggest drug ever.
For years, the industry had been looking into the costs of hair loss treatment, and there was a consensus that the drugs cost around $30 billion each.
That's why many pharmaceutical companies are turning to the so-called Propecia, which is sold under the brand name Proscar, to address this problem.

It's not just the hair loss industry that's been hit by cheaper, cheaper drugs.
In a study of people who were taking Propecia and Proscar, Dr. Simon found that the cost of the drug was about $1,100 to $1,200, and that the Proscar was about 2.5 times more expensive than the drug.
In another study, Dr. Simon found that the cost of the drug was about $1,200 to $1,300.
"We don't know that yet, and we don't have data on this amount," says Dr.
This all makes sense, he says.
But Dr. Simon is not the first to come up with this theory.
In a statement to theArchives of Dermatology, he says: "The research that we're seeing today is promising and important. We are very much hopeful that this new study will help to establish Propecia as a safe and effective treatment for hair loss."
But he says that if you're concerned about hair loss, it may be worth trying Propecia.
The drug has been on the market since 1998, but it wasn't the first drug to be approved for hair loss.
"In 1998, Propecia was introduced, but there was a problem," says Dr.
Dr. Simon says he has seen some reports of men who have lost more hair than they used to, which suggests it may be a sign that the drug is working.
"A lot of people are concerned that their hair is going to fall out, but the results of this study were very promising. The research was promising, and it showed that Propecia was working," says Dr.
The problem is that men who are concerned about their hair loss have never had a trial. So, they just can't buy Propecia.
Simon says there are many other drugs that could be used to treat hair loss, including testosterone blockers.
"This is a very important drug, and I'm very happy that we have this new drug on the market, and it's working. The only thing that I do worry about is Propecia," says Dr.
But even though he can't prove Propecia works, the best thing that can be done is to get it off the market, Dr.
